Sales Associates must have one year experience in retail. Applicants must be able to effectively communicate with supervisors, colleagues and customers, must be able to read and do basic math and must be able to pass a drug test and lift test.
Assistant Manager must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Manager or 5 years as a Retail Team Member with increasing responsibilities. Must have excellent attendance, strong people handling skills, be task oriented, must know their merchandise, leadership skills, problem solving skills, excellent customer service, positive attitude, and strong computer skills, know how to motivate, guide and effectively communicate with all team members, excellent training skills, and a can-do attitude.
Support Manager must have a minimum of 1-2 years retail experience. Store Manager must be a high-energy, highly motivated, highly experienced, professional that will be responsible for full store operations. This will include but will not be limited to managing and motivating staff and using resources to meet preset sales goals, to provide superior customer service, provide superior donor service, follow and implement cash management policies; providing continuous training to store personnel, completing all store related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, communicating store requirement needs for merchandise support to appropriate colleagues, handling customer complaints, documenting and disciplining staff as needed and handling all evaluations. Ideal candidates must have a min of 3 yrs experience in a retail, supervisory role and have strong interpersonal verbal & written communication as well as strong computer skills.
Processors must have a minimum of 1 year's retail experience knowing values of donated items - clothing, wares to sort, price and put onto the sales floor.
Processing Supervisor must have a minimum of 2 years management experience and 3 years retail experience. Must have a good organizational method and be able to know the values of donated items - clothing, wares to sort, price and put onto the sales floor. This is a working position.
Lead Cashier must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a lead cashier or excellent cash management experience. Must have excellent attendance, problem solving skills, excellent customer service, and positive attitude. Lead cashier will supervise cashiers.
Cashier must have a minimum of 1 years experience as a cashier in a retail setting (willing to substitute a great positive attitude and a willingness to be trained for experience). Must have excellent attendance, excellent customer service, positive attitude, strong register experience, strong computer skills, know how to communicate with all team members, flexibility and a can-do attitude.
Store Janitor/ADC must have outstanding customer service skills, be friendly and a team player. Ability to do basic cleaning tasks as trained by management, assist donors with their donations and adhering to the safety rules while performing these functions.
Stocker must follow directions closely and have the ability to put out fresh merchandise as well as pull merchandise to be sent to our outlet store. Must have a strong work ethic, ability to stand for long periods and have excellent customer service skills when on the floor.

1 FT E-Collectibles Associate @ $12.00 an hour:
Competent in internet use and a variety of software applications, including all Microsoft Office products, basic knowledge of digital photography, basic knowledge of "collectibles" merchandise, must have strong organizational and decision making skills, able to work independently and in a team environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills required including command of the English language sufficient to effectively communication with customers and others, must type a minimum of 60 wpm, must have the ability to learn the techniques of the job from short demonstration up to a period of one month. Applicants must pass a collectibles test of recognizing items found for sale in a store or on e-bay. Will need to take and pass a drug test.

OPERATIONS TEAM
PROCESSING CENTER

1 Handler/Forklift Driver @ $8.00 an hour:
Material Handlers will transport and process donated and purchased merchandise for preparation for sale, in order to meet preset production and sales goals. Forklift Driver must be OSHA certified and have at least one years experience. Must undergo our Forklift certification by our OSHA certified trainer. Handlers will handle day to day operations of processing, moving bales, physically loading or unloading trucks and operating compressor machines. Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and lift test.

3 FT Donation Ambassadors @ $8.00 an hour:
To provide stewardship with donors at our donation centers while representing Goodwill with the highest standards of providing excellent customer service, and most consistent daily acquisition of donations. To safeguard donations while following and enforcing Asset Protection policy and procedures, while maintaining clean and organized donation center. Job is in an outside environment with unregulated temperatures. Applicant must pass a pre-employment lift and drug test.

The Bi-Lingual Employment Specialist provides individualized job placement assistance to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment and helps them obtain competitive employment. Career Connections is a free walk-in employment center providing job placement services to members of the public and assisting local businesses find motivated and qualified employees. Services are offered to job seekers and local employers at no charge. Applicant must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, patience, diplomacy, and high level of customer service skills required. A minimum two years of demonstrated experience in employment counseling, career counseling, job development and placement. Experience working with persons who have barriers to employment from various socio-economic, professional and ethnic backgrounds preferred. Barriers to employment may include having low income, limited language skills, limited education and felonies. Bachelors of Arts degree in a related field preferred. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and ability/willingness to work with economically and culturally diverse clientele required, ability to work independently and in a team with ability to work well in a fast-paced environment; excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and outstanding follow-up skills required, familiarity with Las Vegas valley labor market, business community, human services, and a working knowledge of disability-related issues, excellent oral and written presentation skills, excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure, solid computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Email and Internet.
1 FT Bi-lingual Intake Specialist at Career Connections (Tropicana) @ $13.00 an hour:
The Intake Specialist provides reception services for Career Connections, including greeting the public, answering and routing calls and providing general clerical support. The position also manages the intake process and employment verification process providing program documentation services. The position is located in Career Connections, a division of Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc. Career Connections is a free walk-in employment center providing job placement services to members of the public and assisting local businesses find motivated and qualified employees. Services are offered to job seekers and local employers at no charge. The primary hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but the position may work a varied shift to complete special projects as assigned by the supervisor. This may include working evenings on weekends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, patience, diplomacy, and high level of customer service skills required. Minimum two years of demonstrated clerical/secretarial/program support experience. Experience working with persons who have barriers to employment from various socio-economic, professional and ethnic backgrounds preferred. Barriers to employment may include having low income, limited language skills, limited education and felonies. High school diploma is required. Ability to work independently and in a team with ability to work well in a fast-paced environment; excellent organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and outstanding follow-up skills required. Excellent oral and written presentation skills. Ability to speak and write Spanish. Ability to translate from English to Spanish. Must have command of the English language sufficient to communicate with customers, supervisors and other Goodwill Team Members. 1 FT Office Trainer @ $15.50 an hour:
There are two main functional areas associated with the position. First, it is to assess the job skills and job readiness of disabled and/or disadvantaged clients participating in Goodwill's Community Based Training Program (Office); to teach clients various job skills necessary to obtain competitive employment in an office setting; and to teach clients self-sufficiency skills towards greater independency in their lives. Second, it is to assess and teach Goodwill employees various job-centered office and computer skills participating in Goodwill's Career Enhancement Program (CEP), thus helping them become more efficient, productive and empowered in performing their essential job functions. The position will teach basic office skills (i.e., keyboarding, sorting and distributing mail, following proper telephone etiquette, using a multi-line telephone system; operating copy and fax machines) and basic computer skills (i.e., MS Office programs, Internet and E-mail). The primary hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but the position may work a varied shift, including evenings or weekends, at varied locations to provide relief support in other areas of workforce development.
1 FT Retail Trainer for CBT Program @ $ 13.50 an hour:
The primary objective of the position is to assess the job skills and job readiness of disabled and/or disadvantaged clients participating in Goodwill's Community Based Training Program (Retail and/or Processing Areas); to teach clients various job skills necessary to obtain competitive employment in a retail/processing setting; and to teach clients self-sufficiency skills towards greater independency in their lives.
