Steve Chartrand, President & CEO

Steve's passion for Goodwill spans a 24 year career serving Goodwill of Southern Nevada since 1996 and formerly serving as a Vice President of Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. (Nashville). Steve is a graduate of Memphis State University (bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation) and Tennessee State University (MBA). Steve also has served on the Nevada State Rehabilitation Council since 2010. Steve is a Goodwill Industries International Certified Executive. He is a founding Board Member of Spread the Word Nevada: Kids to Kids, and serves on the advisory boards for U.S. Veterans and Baby's Bounty. He is the recipient of Nevada Business Journal's 2001 Most Respected CEO Award for Survivor Overcoming Adversity; 2003 finalist for the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement award; recognized in the "Nevadan at Work" feature in the Las Vegas Review Journal in 2005; and was selected as person of influence in the nonprofit sector by In Business Las Vegas in 2005.
Sherry Ramsey, Chief Financial and Mission Officer

Sherry has been a part of the Goodwill team since 2008. She brings over 13 years of progressive hands-on experience with small to mid-sized multi-entity corporations. Her experience is backed by a breadth of knowledge across finance, administration, operations, development and strategic planning acquired through prior work experience in entertainment, public accounting, manufacturing, health care, retail and social services industries, both in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Sherry holds two bachelor's degrees, one in Finance and one in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. She obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society.
Alyn Reeves, Chief Operating Officer

Alyn joined Goodwill of Southern Nevada in 2010. He is a 14 year Goodwill veteran and previously served at Goodwill agencies in Florida and California. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with an Associate Degree in Business Administration & Marketing. He is a Goodwill Industries International (GII) Certified Consultant (2002). As member of the GII Retail Advisory Group he has performed over 20 consultations at Goodwill agencies across the United States, Canada and Australia. Prior to Goodwill, Alyn held similar positions at Hannaford Supermarkets.
Mary Chartrand, Director of Human Services

Mary has over 30 years of non-profit experience in human service relatedfields with over twenty-five years' experience in volunteer programming, workforce development and human resources. She is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Memphis with both Masters and Bachelors of Science in Education. Mary has successfully directed Goodwill's re-certification process on five separate occasions and in 2003, collaborated on the American Legion Award for employment of the disabled and older workers of America. Mary is a 15 year veteran of Goodwill of Southern Nevada and is a member of Society for Human Resource Management. She has volunteered for the past two years with the Books and Buddies program of Spread the Word Nevada: Kids to Kids as a reading mentor.
Lavonne Hing, Director of Finance

Lavonne has been a Certified Public Accountant, since 1986. She has extensive experience in Audit, Financial Statement Preparation and Tax areas; stemming from more than 20 years in public accounting. She has worked in a wide variety of industries, including high tech manufacturing, medical and other services. Most recently, Lavonne has been a Business Systems Consultant for Start-up entities, mergers and acquisitions, and has held positions as a Private Industry Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Finance. An Ernst& Young alumni, Lavonne is a graduate of the School of Accounting at San Diego State University.
Walter Lescano, Director of Donations & Logistics

Walter is an 11-year veteran of Goodwill of Southern Nevada and a US Navy veteran (1986 - 1989). He is a 1996 graduate of George Mason University and a 1993 graduate of Northern Virginia Community College. Walter is a Goodwill Industries International (GII) Certified Consultant (2006) and also holds a GII Asset Protection Certification (2007). Professional affiliations include International Foundation for Protection Officers, American Society of Industrial Security, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Volunteer, and the LVMPD Hispanic-American Recruitment Council.
Chris Matlock, Director of Retail

Chris joined Goodwill of Southern Nevada in 2010. He has extensive experience in retail sales and distribution. Previously, he has held General Manager and Area & Regional Manager positions at Westar Kitchen & Bath, Levitz, Brandon Furnishings and Menards. Chris attended the University of Wisconsin.
Wolfgang Wollet, Director of Operations & Business Development

Wolfgang has been a part of the Goodwill of Southern Nevada team since 2008. Originally from Germany, Wolfgang holds a German "ABITUR" from Lise Meitner Gymnasium and "Kaufmann im Gross - und Aussenhandel" (Business Specialist for Wholesale and Import/Export Trade). He started his first business at age 15, a mail order company for magician supplies that quickly grew into a European market leader. Since his initial foray into business, he has held Owner and General Manager level positions in retail, real estate, manufacturing and hospitality industries.
