Student Work Experience Program

In collaboration with the Clark County School District, Goodwill of Southern Nevada provides pre-vocational training to Special Education Students from High Schools throughout the Las Vegas Valley. These students generally participate once a week at a designated Goodwill Retail Store or in Goodwill's Processing Center for 1-2 hours. Under their respective teachers' supervision, and the supervision of Goodwill Team Members, they assist with small tasks such as pulling hangers, organizing, colorizing, etc., depending on their individual level of functionality. There are currently 473 students that participate in this program from 28 different schools.
